To demand immediate payment of wages to the contract Labourers who were not paid their wages for November & December months NFTCL has organised a fast infront of BSNL Divisional Engineer office at Thiruvarur on 07-01-2019. State NFTCL Assistant Secretary A.Sekar concluded the fast in the evening as the management assured payment of two months wages by 10-01-2019 before Pongal (Magara Sankranti) festival.
BSNL management is not following the rules to ensure monthly wages to poor contract Labourers by seventh of each month despite Chief Labour Commissioner written instructions on the complaints lodging by NFTCL. Almost in all SSAs of the country BSNL management is practicing the same delaying tactics on the plea of financial difficulties. But they have not curtailed any wasteful expenditure so far. CHQ congratulate the Thiruvarur comrades for their protest.  Click1,  Click2,  Click3,  Click4,  Click5,  Click6,
